R&D Team

Saite has continuously adhered to the technical accumulation in the field of rare metal materials of Northwest Institute of Nonferrous Metals Research(NIN)group over the past 60 years. It has formed an expert team consisting of PhDs, masters, professors, and senior engineers, covering new material research and development, surface modification, precision forming, process optimization, and material application. The company’s R&D team currently consists of 58 professional engineers.

Original Research Results

Saite has extensive experience and technical expertise in project research and development, possesses the ability for continuous innovation, and has achieved a number of significant results.

In the field of high-end titanium materials for biomedical applications, Saite successfully developed titanium alloy ultra-thick-walled tubes for medical trauma implants, filling the domestic gap.

In the field of rare metal wires for fasteners, Saite solved multiple technical problems and process shortcomings related to the size, structure, performance and coating of rare metal wires for fasteners, and was able to stably produce titanium alloy round wire with a single weight greater than 100kg, completely breaking through the industrial chain, ensuring the supply chain, achieving import substitution and self-supply.

In the field of multifunctional nitinol materials, Saite independently developed ultra-fine wire of nitinol shape memory alloy, with the minimum specification reaching dia.0.02mm and the relevant technical indicators are comparable to imported products.

In the field of precision titanium alloy components for aerospace and biomedical application, based on the long-term research foundation of titanium alloy rods and the cross-fusion of titanium alloy precision forging technology, Saite produced and developed titanium alloy compressor fan blades and artificial joint stems, which can effectively reduce production costs while ensuring product quality, and have great market competitiveness.
