Xi’an Saite New Materials Science and Technology Co., Ltd. was established on November 20, 2000, with a registered capital of RMB 90 million. It is a holding company of Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research Group（NIN) . Saite is located in Xi’an Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 137,333m². Currently, it has more than 300 employees. Saite specializes in the fields of biomedical, aerospace, and industrial, mainly engaged in the research, production, and sales of titanium and nitinol materials.
Saite has two wholly-owned subsidiaries, Xi’an Saite Simai Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. and Xi’an Siwei Smart Materials Co., Ltd. which are recognized as national high-tech enterprises. It possesses a complete process of rare metal processing materials production line from raw materials to finished products.Its products cover four fields: high-end titanium materials for biomedical applications, multi-purpose nitinol materials, titanium wire for fasteners and precision titanium forgings.
Saite is one of the largest research and production bases for biomedical titanium materials in China, and also one of the leading manufacturers of large-sized single-weight wire for aerospace fasteners. At the same time, it is one of the earliest high-tech enterprises in China to engage in the research and production of nitinol materials.
Since its establishment, Saite has always adhered to the concept of “innovation-driven development”, emphasizing independent innovation and investment in research and development. Saite and two subsidiaries have a research and development team consisting of over 50 experts, with the proportion of scientific researchers exceeding 30%. The proportion of research and development investment remains above 10%, and it holds 72 patents related to titanium alloy production technology. It has formulated over 20 national and industry standards, and has undertaken more than 200 key scientific research projects and topics at the national, provincial and municipal levels.
